Terms & End-User License Agreement

This Agreement governs your use of ShapeShelf(the “Software”), a panel extension for Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop, produced by NXYZ (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the Software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. License grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Software on up to two (2) computers that you own or control, for personal or commercial design work. The license is per user.

2. What you may do

• Use the Software to create artwork for personal and commercial projects, including paid client work.
• Use, modify, and distribute the artwork you insert or export, subject to each source library’s open-source license (see Licenses).

3. What you may not do

• Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute the Software itself.
• Share your license, distribute the installer to others, or circumvent any licensing mechanism.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent that law expressly permits despite this limitation.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices.

4. Bundled open-source assets

The Software searches and delivers icons, emoji, and curated vectors from third-party open-source libraries, and bundles components such as Google’s MobileNet model and TensorFlow.js. These remain under their own licenses, listed on the Licenses page. Your use of that artwork and those components is governed by those licenses.

5. Updates

Your purchase includes free updates to the Software. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time. The Software notifies you when a new version is available; installing updates is at your discretion.

6. Refund policy

If you purchased through the aescripts + aedownloads marketplace, that marketplace’s refund policy applies to your purchase. In addition, if the Software does not work as described and we are unable to resolve the issue, contact us at info@nxyz.art within 14 days of purchase and we will work with you on a refund.

7. Disclaimer of warranty

The Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You assume all risk arising from your use of the Software.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from or related to your use of the Software. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.

9. Privacy

The Software is local-first and collects no personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which NXYZ operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
